LISD campuses would be used as shelters should Gustav hit Texas (The Lufkin Daily News)

"Those of you who have lived here all your lives know that something like this has only happened once in a lifetime," Lufkin ISD Superintendent Roy Knight told a room full of administrators Friday morning. "But now it may be happening again, and we're going to be called on to do our part again."
